Pressure cushion with an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side is very resilient (low compression set), has a wide operating temperature range -67°F (-55°C) to 392°F (200°C) and are UV / ozone resistant. It is derived from a thin sheet of uncured silicone gum that is chemically blown or expanded while curing in a high temperature press or rotocure. Pressure cushion is considered to be fully closed cell, meaning the cells are non-interconnecting, therefore they do not allow water to wick through. It offers superior service life, excellent conformability, and flexibility. Other benefits include low compression set and high adhesion to a variety of substrates.
