PTFE coated glass fabrics are excellence in heat resistance, releasing property and mechanical strength. It consist of a non-alkali glass cloth base impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and sintered. Exhibits excellent features such as chemical resistance, electrical properties, weather resistance and non-adhesiveness. PTFE coated glass fabrics are also used for obtaining smooth surface correction. They are primarily used in applications where it is important that the adhesive doesn't come in to contact with a heating element or it is necessary to cover an expensive component of a packaging machine such as silicone sponge or foam.
